Blizzard just recently confirmed that there will be a part lock for ‘StarCraft II’ meaning your world domination over the game has just been denied. For any gamers to play on a different side of the world say South Han-Gook and the US, the gamer must bargain a copy of the game from there.
Blizzard’s Frank Pearce confirmed this and said “It’ll be structured very similarly to World of Warcraft, where you’ve got the European part and participant matched against the other participant within their region,”
“If you’re a European player and you’ve got friend that are in another part that you want to be able to connect with, we definitely want to support that,” although “it might mean that you have to accession it through the US client.”
Well, I still have hope they will implement a characteristic where we can play against the world.
Also, Kotaku reported just now that snowstorm confirms that they will be extending the beta testing time, which was suppose to end on June 1st, but now it is extended to June 7th. Not much of a difference to some, but I think I can still scene about 200 game during that week.
