April 16th, 2009UncategorizedOn 4th March, it’s 10 years since Sony Playstation 2 (PS2) joined in console market. Until now, it has 140 millions machines being sold all over the world.
From appearance of PS2 – 4th March 2000 that brought about issued game series: Street Fighter EX3, Ridge Racer 5, Eternal Ring, DrumMania and Final Fantasy 10… More than 1 million PS2 machines were sold in the first day issuing game.
It’s not just in Japan, after one year Sony PS2 had joined in The West market, these products became the most used products with more than 100 millions machines were sold in 6 years. The improved PS2 series of Sony (PS2 mini or PS2 slim was issued on March 2006) also touch high incomes with more than 30 millions machines were used. With the low cost now, it seems the number 140 millions not to be stopped.
I interest PS2 in the first days, so I like it so much. Although it becomes old when Play station 3 appears but PS2 game in Vietnam is not decrease, because of interesting and attractive games: God of War, PES, Dynasty Warrior…

Bethesda Softworks has finalized a release date for the second Fallout 3 downloadable expansion: March 24, 2009.
The add-on, dubbed “The Pitt,” gives player the chance to explore the post-nuclear wreckage of Pittsburgh. Unlike modern-day Pittsburgh, The Pitt is a decrepit industrial wasteland run by raiders and slavers.
Based on the images Bethesda has so far released, it almost looks like Barter Town from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, only with a notable lack of Tina Turner in chainmail.
As with the previously released Operation Anchorage add-on, The Pitt will be priced at $10 on release and should hit the Xbox Live Marketplace and Windows Live simultaneously.

April 12th, 2009UncategorizedThe Beatles: Rock Band will ship for Xbox 360, Wii, and PlayStation 3 in North America and European territories on 9/9/09. Yes, that is the tenth anniversary of the U.S. launch of the Dreamcast, but more to the point, it’s “number nine, number nine, number nine.” Cute.
The standalone game will cost $60. Optional instrument controllers based on the instruments used by the band will also be available. On launch day, the available configurations will be a guitar controller for $100 and a limited edition bundle for $250.
Well, those sure are expensive controllers. Seems like they’re relying mostly on people using their existing guitars and drums to play Beatles, and just offering higher-quality controllers for people who want to blow a bunch of money for the ultimate experience. I wouldn’t expect these instruments to be available in high quantities, given the price.
